DeepSeek has completed a $7.5 billion financing round, and its annualized revenue has exceeded $1 billion.
According to two people familiar with the matter, DeepSeek's current annualized revenue run rate has reached 1 billion US dollars. Liang Wenfeng, CEO of DeepSeek, disclosed the aforementioned latest revenue data at a recent investor meeting. The company is pushing forward its second round of financing and preparing for an IPO on the Shanghai Stock Exchange, and this revenue performance is expected to boost investor confidence. DeepSeek plans to complete this round of financing by the end of October, with a target fundraising of 500 billion RMB (about 7.5 billion US dollars) and a target valuation of 5 trillion RMB. People familiar with the matter said that part of DeepSeek's revenue growth comes from the price adjustment last month: the model invocation price was raised to 2.3 to 4.5 times the original price. Liang Wenfeng said at the meeting that the price adjustment did not cause customer churn, and user demand remains strong. (Sina Finance)
