Spanish optical switching firm iPronics has completed a $125 million Series B financing round, with NVIDIA participating in the investment.
iPronics, a silicon photonics company based in Valencia, Spain, announced on Wednesday that it has completed a $125 million Series B financing round co-led by Maverick Silicon and Light Street Capital, with NVIDIA participating in the investment. After the completion of this round of financing, the total cumulative financing amount of the company has risen to $177 million. The funds will be used to expand operations, accelerate commercial deployment, and meet the demand for its rack-mounted optical switch product Optical Networking Engine (ONE) in artificial intelligence data centers.
