Databento Secures $97 Million Series B Financing

36 Kr learned that Databento, a global financial market data infrastructure service provider, has completed a $97 million Series B financing round. This round was led by NEA, with continued follow-on investments from existing investors including Redpoint Ventures, DRW Venture Capital, and Tribe Capital. The proceeds from this round will be mainly used to expand the coverage categories of global assets, deploy in regional markets, and comprehensively upgrade the underlying data infrastructure. The company plans to expand the number of its global data centers to more than 20, and add over 100 PB of storage capacity, so as to double its overall storage scale.
